"I am a true believer that passion is what moves people to do more, better and greater things. Cliché as it may sound, when people are honestly passionate about something, there is virtually no limit to what they can achieve. Passion is what started the M Gruppe and what moves it forward. It is also what pushes me and the team to want this community to be an ever closer and tighter group of ///M enthusiasts who want to share their common passion with like-minded individuals - even when that means simply parking together and hanging out for coffee on a Saturday morning. We have a unique membership and, out of this group, come the men and women who want to go the extra mile and be part of the M Gruppe team, helping ‘steer the car’ in its journey into the future."
Area Directors wanted in most US states and metro areas. We have Gruppers in 21 countries, and are also open to establishing Area Director positions abroad.
Adriana’s love for cars started when she was about 3 years old, and would ‘help’ her father wash and wax his cars. The love for cars just grew from there. She started to drive when she was 14 (manuals only). The passion for BMW M cars developed from a long history with BMWs that started in Germany in the mid 90s. Adriana’s experience in the car enthusiast world in the US started with the Houston Chater BMW CCA in the mid 2000s where she served for several years as Social Events Chairperson and later as VP. In the early 2010s Adriana co-managed the former Houston ///M Club, culminating in the creation of the then Texas M Gruppe (Dec/2015) with Chris White who a year later left to start a different group. Adriana has done multiple Euro Deliveries and the current BMW stable includes E9, 3.0CS, E30 325is, E30 M3, E31 850 CSi German import, E64 M6, F82 GTS, F90 M5, F91 M8C. Previous BMWs included E36 325i, E46 330cic, E39 525iT, E67 745i, E53 X5, E63 645ci, E67 750i, E64 650, 4x F12 M6, F06 B7. Adriana cherishes both the heritage and modern cars, and believes that BMW M owners should first and foremost know about the rich history behind the BMW M brand, and how to properly handle their cars. She supports formal training, a belief she brings to the M Gruppe. Adriana has participated in many high performance training courses such as M Performance schools in SC, M Performance Driving at the Circuit of the Americas and the mother of all tracks, the Nordschleife Performance training at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife with BMW M Germany. Adriana professional background was in the upstream side of the oil & gas industry. She holds a Business degree from Norway, a Safety Engineering degree from University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from Tulane University.

Cars have always played an outsized role in Andrew’s life. Growing up in Connecticut, he had a large collection of Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars as a child. His first daily driver was a 1977 Chevy Nova V8 three speed manual; the car he drove while in college was a 1979 Triumph Spitfire and his car in law school was a 1981 Mazda RX7. Andrew’s bought his first BMW in 1997, a 1991 E34 M5 which he still owns today. Andrew used that M5 to bring his son Stephen home from the hospital and 17 years later, Stephen became a full-fledged member of the M Gruppe with his own 2004 E46 M3. When not driving one of his four BMW’s, Andrew is an in-house attorney for a large oil field services and manufacturing company based in Houston, TX.
Ali loved speed from the moment he was born. Prior to his first birthday he already had seen the M3 differential fluid being replaced. By the age of 3, he could differentiate between car models and list specific ones. Already at a very young age Ali had the attention span to learn the inner workings of an engine. He has a wide collection of model cars, a work in progress. As a gifted and talented student, speed always fascinated him in learning. He has discovered many ways to gain knowledge about cars and is never tired to learn more. Go Karting, remote control cars, racing games, Lego robotics, Car Art are some of his hobbies – but cars & coffee and car meets are his favorite pass time. He also films and edits videos for M Gruppe Juniors as well. Following is the list of BMW M cars adored by Ali has experienced from the research stage, test driving, purchase and enjoyment: E46 M3, E90 M3, F82 M4, E39 M5, yet another E39 M5, and F06 M6.
Ali's neighbors and swim coaches reach out to him for car advice, especially as it relates to which car model to buy. From features to performance you name it, Ali is on top of it, knowing more than many adult enthusiasts in terms of car information. His Kindergarten dream was to build a “W18 engine to be “faster than Bugatti” though he laughs about it now. The love for BMW M started from the first M Car (M5) Ali could experience. The passion just grew more with time. Now he is always on the lookout for the new M car and what BMW has to offer. There is definitely more to come in the future as his journey is just starting!

His first exposure to BMW was his girlfriend’s 318i. Both turned into long term love affairs as he married the girl and has owned his own BMW ever since including among others an e31 850i and now an e63 M6. Hailing out of the New York City borough of Queens, Anis has been around the block. That is to say his car ownership career started with a Kia, moved onto a couple of Subaru’s, dabbled in a bit of Audi, tasted the AMGs and now has found his home amongst the ///Ms. Quite an interesting history. When he’s not out looking for ///M badges on non ///M cars Anis is giving it his all at a charity very near and dear to his heart as their Director of Music and Special Projects called The Songs of Love Foundation. They create free personalized, one-of-a-kind songs for sick children and teens in hospitals nationwide free of charge. No, Anis is not singing on the songs (thank goodness). Years ago he saw a E36/8, lovingly called the Clownshoe and just had to have one. . . only if he can fit in it. As luck would have it he fits just right and loves the ///M Coupe. A couple track days and fun drives for no reason has solidified that love for the Clownshoe.

Lucas is a Houston-born-and-raised Brazilian-American, who attended Cornell University to pursue a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Already a car enthusiast by the time he was applying, he knew he wanted to pursue project team work for the school’s Formula SAE design team. While completing his Bachelors and Masters, Lucas spent four years on the “car team”, with most of his time dedicated to suspension design, and the occasional stint in the car. His success in suspension component design led him to a leadership position on the suspension team, which dovetailed into my leadership of the entire chassis team. His passion for high performance vehicles, along with the skills he developed on the team launched his career in aircraft design. Lucas moved to Greensboro, NC and joined Honda Aircraft Company as an Engineer for Hydraulics, Brakes, and Landing Gear Systems. It was at this time that he made the jump to an M2 Competition and joined the M Gruppe and its Motorsports Council. After securing the M2C, he began attending HPDE events in the area, improving his skills developed in the Formula car, and with sights set on becoming an instructor-caliber driver. Lucas has been in Greensboro for a few years now, and has since taken on a new role as Engineering Project Manager for new aircraft development at Honda, while still continuing to push himself and his ///M on the circuit.
Jaco is South African and growing up he dreamed of being a car designer but with limited opportunities for that in South Africa he followed Gordon Murray’s choice to study Mechanical Engineering instead and also did a post grad degree in Vehicle Engineering. Currently Jaco works for Caterpillar and has held numerous international positions. Jaco’s passion for cars started at a young age as his father worked in the auto industry and growing up, he had the opportunity to attend many track race events with his dad. A local racing legend, Tony Viana, raced the 3 series, 5 series and even the 7 series in various South African championships. Many of those cars were unique to SA and had to be homologated. That caused Jaco to fall in love with BMW, not to mention the e30 M3’s success in DTM. Jaco’s BMW ownership history include the following: E12 518i, E36 328i Motorsport, E46 325ti, E90 330i, E90 335i, E83 X3, E86 Z4 M Coupe, F22 M235i (daily driver), E87 M2 Competition and his pride and joy, an E82 1 M Coupe with Dinan Stage 3. Jaco enjoys all types of car events, even participated as a navigator in rallying in South Africa. With numerous track experiences and BMW driving school events completed, Jaco hopes to develop his driving skills more whilst here in the USA, behind the wheel of some very special ///Ms.

Chris was born in the 80s in Wiesbaden (Germany) and that is where his love for cars started. In 2016 he decided to leave everything behind and start anew with his dad and siblings. His first job in the US was as a BMW Genius at BMW of Columbia (SC). That job was what made Chris enthusiastic about the brand. He always had to have a diecast BMW M next to his desk! The German connection led Chris to Prof. Jochen Lauterbach (SC Area Director). In 2018 Chris started at a new job, as General Manager for a German manufacturing company producing parts for the auto industry (including BMW). A couple of months after he started in his new job, Chris was finally able to make his BMW M dream come true in the form of a 2015 F80. A never ending love story!
Nav is originally from Trinidad and was raised in South Florida. Being in South Florida from early childhood led to the passion for cars as it has always been a major scene for exotic, fast, and customized rides. As he grew up in Fort Lauderdale, and attended college at FIU in Miami, he also managed an auto performance shop which only furthered the desire to own and customize his cars. After owning and customizing a myriad of Japanese cars while immersed in the car culture, it led to him wanted his dream car at the time – an E46 M3. A couple years after college, Naviel fulfilled that dream and purchase his M3 which would later be known as his gateway drug of ///M Cars. Over the years, he customized and tuned the Carbon Black E46. The ///M Addiction didn’t stop there, as he then acquired an E92 Silverstone M3 Coupe, and a Sakhir Orange F82 M4. He still has both and they have been through their fair share of customization.
Naviel and his family love traveling around the world and have ///Mbraced the M life which also led to the pilgrimage to the Nürburgring in 2017. He has recently signed up for ///M Performance school in SC, and is always looking to add to the ///M Stable if the opportunity presents itself. He looks forward to growing the M Gruppe community in the South Florida market and meeting the fellow passionate enthusiasts out there.
Brant grew up in Tampa, FL and always had a love for cars. From an early age Brant would read through DuPont Registry magazines becoming familiar with models and pricing. Early on Brant gravitated towards car culture through TV, movies, video games, magazines, and whatever other media he could get his hands on. Top Gear, Monster Garage, Chip Foose, The Fast and The Furious, Need for Speed Underground, Car and Driver, R&T, and many others were formative in the years before a drivers license. Brant would read through parts magazines and draw his ideal car with the parts he liked prior to being able to own one - always an eye for modification and customization. Brant was introduced to BMW ///M through friends in college at Florida State University who owned a number of E9x M3s. Brant was able to drive these on many occasions and fell in love with the model and platform. Finally, in September 2019, Brant realized his dream and found his ideal E92 M3, making the purchase from a dealer in Virginia. Brant immediately drove the car back home to Tampa and jumped into the online community around the platform and the ///M brand. Brant frequents local cars and coffee events, group drives, and tracks the ///M at Sebring and the FIRM. Brant is looking forward to growing the M Gruppe presence in the Central Florida area! Brian has been a car guy since he was 8 years old. His passion for cars led him to work as an alarm and audio installer from when he was 16 and throughout his college years. During those years, Brian built systems that won several national events. A native of California's Central Coast, Garrett has loved cars his entire life. Growing up just minutes from Laguna Seca Raceway and Monterey's prestigious Car Week, he remembers heading to the track with his dad and seeing some of the greatest road and race cars...a kid’s dream. Never one for sporting events or concerts, he prefers to block out the week in August every year to attend the Car Week events: The Quail, Concours d’Elegance, Legends of the Autobahn, and take in all the scenery. As his wife puts it, "I know to not ask Garrett to do anything until after the Concours. It’s the only time he gets a pass on not paying attention.” An engineer by day and car guy 24/7/365, Garrett has always appreciated a very wide variety of cars, taking pride in knowing about vehicles ranging from the latest ///M car to McLaren's, old Camaro's and more. While he has had many different new and classic cars over the years, 2018 was the year he bought his first (but definitely not last) ///M and he hasn't looked back. While his wife would argue that he didn’t buy the X5M as a family car, Garrett's love for his F85 is magnified by the joy his 3 year old daughter, Emmy, gets from going to school in "daddy's race car.” He looks forward to hosting many M Gruppe events in Northern California, and can’t wait to bring his M to Laguna Seca track days and Car Week!

Kevin began his love for cars when he discovered Hot Wheels at the age of 4. His motorsport passion was cemented watching the Indy 500 each May. After autocrossing for a few years, he attended Skip Barber School of Racing, which led him to competing in SCCA driving a Formula Ford. Those racing days were later replaced by responsible adult behaviors and a career in the medical field. After buying his first BMW, a used E21 320 in 1989, he read a review of one of the most beautiful cars he had ever seen: a red/black E30 M3. It became a dream, then a goal, then a reality in 1995. He has found that HPDEs are a great way to quench the need for speed and share his passion for driving. He shares his knowledge as an instructor for BMW and Porsche clubs at tracks including Mid Ohia, Watkins Glen, VIR, Road Atlanta and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. That 1989 Zinnoberrot/Schwarz M3 is still lovingly parked in the garage today, next to its BMW M siblings, and F10 and an E90 CP that sees both street and track duties, and wifey's E46 track car.
